WHAT TO EXPECT

Health and safety have always been a top priority at Heather Huston RMT's practice. Many changes have been made to Heather Huston RMT's practice to further enhance our already strict guidelines for infection control and to help maintain social distancing. You will notice things like a hand sanitizing station at the front entrance of the clinic space and only one chair in the waiting room among other changes. Heather will be wearing the required PPE, but rest assured, still smiling underneath her mask. :)

Heather's hours have also been adjusted and bookings have been spread apart to help maintain social distancing and allow for proper cleaning and disinfecting procedures set out from our regulatory college and from the province of Ontario Public Health guidelines. Please note that this may pose a challenge with respect to booking availability.

Should you chose to come for a treatment, here are some things that will be expected of you:

All clients will be screened for COVID-19 during the booking process. Please be patient and answer the questions honestly. This is for everyone’s safety.
On the day of your visit, we ask that you complete the online self-assessment screening tool found at https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/ at home. Should you fail to pass the online assessment, you will be required to call and reschedule your appointment for a later date.
All clients must wear a mask. Please bring one with you. You will be required to wear a mask for the duration of your visit and treatment.
Please use your washroom at home before coming to your appointment. This will help minimize the risk of spread of COVID-19.
Please wait in your car until your scheduled appointment time. Side door will be locked until space fully disinfected in preparation for your treatment. Upon arrival please text Heather to confirm covid screening questions are negative. Heather will come and unlock side door to bring you inside once disinfection is complete.
Please leave all personal items in your car e.g. jackets, bags, etc.
Please use the hand sanitizer provided immediately upon entering the clinic.
Please do not bring anyone else with you to your appointment (other than parent of a minor, or if assistance is needed)
